William McArdle
Creator, Head Designer and Co-owner
William McArdle is the creator, head designer and co-owner of Avant-Garde, William and Company Floral Design Studio and AG Bridal Packages.com. Our floral studio has a reputation that attracts a vibrant, colorful clientele looking for a floral designer who can bring their vision to life.
Working as a florist in Phoenix is exciting and sometimes unpredictable. We work hard and have fun, meet interesting people and most importantly get to be creative through interesting events, beautiful venues, fantastic clients and of course wonderful, colorful flowers.
I began my floral career at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a result of my 9 years of experience there, I opened Avant-Garde in 2005. The world opened up for me and gave me everything I needed to be successful. Employees that I have continued to work with for 24 years, a devoted client base, and a wonderful life partner, David. He has the accounting knowledge to take care of our business finances so I can concentrate on the creative aspect of Avant-Garde and AG Bridal Packages. David and I have managed an extensive and high profile portfolio, and we have nurtured and loved a talented team of florists and employees that we call family.
Avant-Garde and AG Bridal Packages is successful today because of the talent and devotion of our team. Yes, I am very proud of what we’ve achieved.
David Stoelk
CFO and Co-owner
David Stoelk is CFO and co-owner of Avant-Garde, William and Company Floral Design Studio and AG Bridal Packages.com. A floral studio that has a reputation of being the finest specialty florist in the southwest; we focus on large events, weddings and everyday entertaining needs.
I serve as CFO and Controller of Avant-Garde and AG Bridal Packages. In this role, I lead the companys’ financial reporting, accounting and related internal control functions.
I have over 30 years of accounting experience, both here in the Phoenix metro and in Los Angeles. I am the financial controller for several companies in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
I moved to Phoenix in 2008 after years of commuting between Phoenix and LA to concentrate on my partner William and our business. I enjoy travelling internationally with William, being in our backyard desert oasis, spending time with friends and our 2 dogs!

Jill Murphey
Director of Sales
Jill Murphey, Director of Sales has been with Avant-Garde since its inception in 2005, previously working with our Avant-Garde core team at the Phoenician Resort’s floral and event entity. A background in theater, design and as a former successful business owner allows her to create the perfect symmetry between the “Big Picture” of an event with the ever so important finishing décor details at a realistic price point.
Attributes: Attentive listener, problem solver, creative thinker, somewhat irreverent, fearless, innovative, wickedly strong work ethic, relevant grasp on wide variety of design concepts, decisively embraces challenges, loves a great laugh, passionate about our beautiful product/unsurpassed service level, somewhat articulate and a super “dog mom”.

Brian Bertolucci
Director of Production
Brian Bertolucci has been with Avant-Garde since 2013. I have over 30 years of experience in the Event Business. Coordinator, Designer, Sales, Visual Manager to name a few of my titles. My present position is Production Manager/Sales at Avant-Garde and AG Bridal Packages. I do all of the purchasing of product for the events from hard goods to flowers. I also coordinate the production of the warehouse from pulling the inventory to prepping and designing the floral arrangements. I keep in mind the high standards and consistency of the product for each event.
I started my career at Caesars Tahoe where I coordinated events with high profile sports and entertainment celebrities. Some of these included Pete Sampras, Evander Holyfield, Joan Rivers and Diana Ross. Working with these celebrities helped develop my professionalism that has carried on to this day.
